In partnership with the Canadian-American Center (UMaine), the Center for the Study of Canada (SUNY Plattsburgh), and the Canadian Studies Center (UW), the Center for Canadian-American Studies' K-12 Study Canada program is pleased to announce its upcoming Mosaic Webinar Series, a 4-part series that will focus on the following topics:
- History & Legacy of the Residential School System (February 27 & March 4, 2024 | 7:00pm ET / 4:00pm PT)
- Climate Change in the Classroom (March 19, 2024 | 7:00pm ET / 4:00pm PT)
- Indigenous Voices & Pedagogies (April 15, 2024 | 7:00pm ET / 4:00pm PT)
But more than just an overview, each webinar - available as a series or stand alone - will provide tools and resources to help educators effectively and accurately integrate the topics into their curriculum. Open to faculty, students, and community members.
