ACSUS 24th Biennial Conference - HOLD THE DATES!

Please mark your calendars!  The 24th Biennial ACSUS conference will be held Wednesday, October 18th through Saturday, October 21st, 2017

The conference will be held once more at the Tuscany Suites and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.  After careful consideration, the relatively low cost of rooms, the almost unparalleled accessibility of Las Vegas, and the high level of satisfaction expressed by participants in the 23rd Biennial, all encouraged the Executive Council to decide to break with tradition and return to the Tuscany.

Longtime Friend of Canadian Studies Stephen Clarkson Dies

Stephen Clarkson , longtime supporter of Canadian studies and of ACSUS, died unexpectedly in late February, 2016.  Stephen could always be relied upon to offer passionate, informed, and insightful contributions to our ACSUS meetings.  At our most recent Biennial in Las Vegas in October 2015, he presented a paper and took part in our "Thomas Enders Symposium" that was co-sponsored by the Thomas O. and Gaetana Enders Foundation and ACSUS.  He is pictured above (second from right) taking part in the Symposium that was organized by Christopher Sands, SAIS, Johns Hopkins,  at that conference.
