INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON  CANADA,  CANADA-US RELATIONS, NORTH AMERICA, NOVEMBER 2009, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

ACSUS will host its 20^th Biennial Conference at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego, California, November 18-22, 2009.

Based on an overwhelming response to the Call for Proposals, we are able to project an attendance of around 700 delegates representing more than fifteen disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. This is a 15% increase over attendance at the 2007 Torontoconference.  

ACSUS is a multidisciplinary organization advancing the study of Canada and its relations with the United States. From political science to Canadian literature, history to economics and Northern studies, the multidisciplinary focus provides academic presses with a targeted academic audience.

The exhibit hall is an integral part of the conference attendee’s experience. Many are actively seeking new texts and publications for courses and programs. 

We offer exhibitors maximum visibility by actively directing conference traffic into the exhibit space. Internet café stations and all refreshment breaks will be staged in the exhibit hall. The internet cafes and refreshment breaks guarantee the exhibit area will be a popular socializing and networking spot throughout the conference.

All exhibitors are guaranteed gratis ad space in the conference program. The combination of an exhibit table and ad space extends your reach and increases strategic marketing opportunities.

Exhibitors also receive complimentary registration privileges and are invited to attend all major plenary events. The program includes a Government of Canada plenary luncheon and address as well as several provincial government receptions and keynote addresses.
