Updated Call for Papers - ACSUS 24th Biennial - Las Vegas,NV October 2017

Attached is an updated copy of the Call for Proposals for our 24th Biennial Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) conference.

The conference will be held October 18-21st, 2017 at the Tuscany Suites & Casino resort in Las Vegas, NV.  Rooms at the Tuscany are $65 per night (single/double occupancy) Sunday-Thursday, and $125 per night Friday and Saturday. 

The deadline for proposal submission is May 15th, 2017.

CFP - "What are the Eastern Townships?" Conference

The Eastern Townships Research Center and the Institute for Quebec Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh invite proposals for an upcoming conference on the topic "What Are the Eastern Townships?"

The conference will be held October 25-27th, 2017 at Bishops University in Sherbrooke, QU.  Proposals are due February 28th, 2017.  Full details can be found in the attached document.

Call for Articles - "What's New About New France?"

The editors of Etudes Canadiannes/Canadian Studies seek papers (in English or French) that explore ways in which doctoral students or established scholars have renewed our perspectives on the history of New France (1534-1763) over the past 10 years.  The Deadline for teh receipt of proposals (250-300 words) is February 15, 2017 with selected articles due by May 15th, 2017.   Full details can be found by clicking on the link below.
