Robarts Centre Visiting Professorship in Canadian Studies

The Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies invites applications for the 2022-2023 Robarts Visiting Professorship at York University (Toronto, Ontario). The Professorship is open to full-time (tenured or tenure-track) faculty members who work on issues concerning Canada and who are based outside the country, are planning to go on sabbatical or other leave during 2022-2023, and have demonstrated scholarly expertise on Canada and a commitment to Canadian studies.

The application deadline is March 25, 2022.

Extended Deadline: Killam Professorship in Canadian Studies - Bridgewater State University

The Canadian Studies Program at Bridgewater State University (Massachusetts) has extended its deadline for applications for the Killam Visiting Professorship in Canadian Studies (Fall 2022 OR Spring 2023) to January 31, 2022.  Applications from faculty on sabbatical leave, emeritus professors, postdoctoral scholars and others are all welcome. Call for Papers: The 9th Congress of Polish Canadianists

The organizers of the 9th Congress of the Polish Association for Canadian Studies (PACS) are pleased to invite scholars working across various disciplines, as well as writers and artists, to submit paper and panel proposals which consider the broadly-understood issues of exclusion and inclusion in the Canadian context.

The conference will be held September 21-23, 2022, at the University of Białystok, Poland.

Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2022.

Call for Papers: Mid-Atlantic & New England Council for Canadian Studies

After a COVID two-year delay, we are excited to get back to the business of talking Canada! The Mid-Atlantic and New England Council for Canadian Studies (MANECCS) is currently accepting papers from all academic disciplines for its 38th conference, to be held at the Marriott Fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario between October 20 and 22, 2022.

Deadline for submissions is June 17, 2022.

Call for Papers: Quebec Past & Present Colloquium

The annual Quebec Past and Present academic colloquium will be held at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec, on April 8-9, 2022.

2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the colloquium - sponsored by the Institute on Quebec Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh and the Eastern Townships Resource Centre at Bishop’s - which focuses on original scholarly contributions on Quebec. Submissions from undergraduate and graduate students and faculty are welcome. Select contributions from the colloquium will appear in a forthcoming issue of the Journal of Eastern Townships.
